Paradox Rocks – Program Managers
These are project based positions which may be filled with project staff or volunteers. One program manager will be appointed per Paradox Rocks Event.
Program managers will be engaged to help support various events and programs held by Paradox Sports. These PM’s may be paid on a project basis or work as volunteers. They are accountable to the Executive Director on all matters including scheduling, delivery and infrastructure support; volunteer management; assistance with program promotion and events/outreach coordination, budgeting for event, follow-up and various administrative tasks.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Recruit participants and sponsors for each event.
- Plan, coordinate and implement programming for persons with disabilities
- Assure safety is upheld in all activities
- Coordinate necessary equipment procurement and maintenance
- Ensure appropriate volunteer training and supervision
- Schedule staff and volunteers to ensure safe and competent execution of all programming
- Assist with program promotion
- Assist with fund raising events
- Contribute to the production of newsletter articles, websites, Facebook, and other promotional materials
- Assist with program budget development
- Maintain program expenditures within budgeted parameters
- Apprise Executive Director regularly regarding program and project status
- Provide on-site surveys and review of programs
- Provide written evaluation of program at the completion of, or during, each program
