You don’t want to miss the 2018 Base Camp Breakfast – an early morning filled with encouragement, motivation, great food and great community.
In September 2016, we hosted our first annual Base Camp Breakfast at the historic St. Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder, CO. Nearly 200 people across many industries joined us to celebrate Paradox Sports’ work with adaptive climbing – medical professionals, professional climbers, adaptive athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, volunteers, and passionate community members. We were blown away by the support we received.
The 2016 Base Camp Breakfast was kicked off by keynote speaker Kyle Maynard and his story about climbing Mount Kilimanjaro as a quadruple amputee. We were also joined by Paradox Sports Ambassador Chad Jukes, only months after becoming one of the first American-born amputees to summit Mount Everest. Chad was also climbing to spread awareness about PTSD.
In November 2017, we were honored to have all three co-founders of Paradox Sports in the same room for our second Base Camp Breakfast. Malcolm Daly, D.J. Skelton, and Timmy O’Neill had a vision 10 years ago to create a community centered around adaptive sports, and their hard work and passion turned Paradox Sports from a dream into a reality.
