Join Paradox Sports for the 2nd Annual Joshua Tree Trip!
2018 – Dates TBD
Want to learn to lead? Build and clean anchors? Ascend a line? Rescue an injured partner? If so, Paradox would love for you to join us for our first ever skills camp in iconic Joshua Tree National Park! This trip is for adaptive athletes who want to become more independent climbers by pushing their technical and movement skills to the next level.
Joshua Tree is one of the best teaching areas in the country, and we’ll be there at one of the best times of year. We’ll be camping, climbing, and practicing our skills for a week during prime spring conditions. The gorgeous scenery, wide variety of climbing terrain, easy approaches, and classic routes all add up to “Josh” being a climbing area with something for everyone.
This is an advanced trip intended for people of all abilities who already have some climbing experience. Participants can expect lots of individualized attention from our AMGA certified guides and expert volunteers. Topics covered will vary based on the personal goals of group members.
- Day One: Arrive in JTree, set up camp, welcome dinner, and meet the team.
- Climbing and practicing skills in JTNP!
- Last Day: End of the trip – depart in the morning.
Registration Fee: TBD
Must register one month in advance. Note: This is an application-based trip – registering alone does not guarantee you a spot on the program. Applications will be reviewed and decisions made beginning January 2018.
