Have you ever wanted to participate in an ACI, but Have you ever wanted to participate in an ACI, but your home gym is unable to host or you are unaffiliated and looking to grow your adaptive climbing education? We are hosting two open-enrollment ACIs:

Rock Climb Fairfield - March 24 - 25, Fairfield, CT

The Spot Louisville -- March 10, Louisville, CO

All attendees must have (at a minimum) basic climbing knowledge and the ability to belay before attending the course. This helps maximize the time focused on adaptive climbing skills and equipment to make the course a valuable experience for all.

As we continue to empower individuals and create c As we continue to empower individuals and create community, we are excited to announce the first Paradox Sports adaptive climbing comp team! Paradox Sports is proud to support a competitive paraclimbing team, and we invite interested adaptive athletes to apply! As outlined in our newest Strategic Plan, our focus on expanding opportunities through investing in people and program growth has led us to create this opportunity. We thank our community for helping identify this new opportunity as a priority, and we couldn’t be more excited to open up our first round of applications!

Paradox Sports is looking to create a team composed of a diverse group of individuals, varying in gender, experience levels, and disabilities…and more importantly, a group of individuals who are stoked to be a positive force in the adaptive climbing space! As a member of the team, you are psyched to support other team members, work collaboratively with the team manager and represent yourself and Paradox Sports with professionalism at all times. Of course, we are also looking for individuals who are psyched about competing and are not afraid to push their individual limits - whatever that may look like. We are also looking for advocates of the Paradox Sports mission. We hope you are as excited as we are! If that sounds like you…consider applying today!

To learn more or apply, visit https://www.paradoxsports.org/competitive-climbing-team/ or the link in our bio.

*The application deadline is February 14, 2023.

Our newest blog is up, written by Shane Farver. S Our newest blog is up, written by Shane Farver.

Shane writes, "The thing about the adaptive climbing community is that we tend to come from all over the world. On the one hand, that’s comforting: I can go to so many places, and I can find a friend. On the other hand, that’s daunting: connecting with my community usually means a fair amount of travel, and all of the costs and logistics associated with it."
