Ice season is here, and Paradox Sports is excited to offer multiple adaptive ice climbing opportunities this winter. From multi day programs to local ice days and festival partnerships, we are looking forward to another season of getting outside with our community.

Ice season is here, and Paradox Sports is excited to offer multiple adaptive ice climbing opportunities this winter. From multi-day programs to local ice days and festival partnerships, we are looking forward to another season of getting outside with our community.

Whether you are new to ice climbing or continuing to build your skills, we invite you to join us for a season of challenge, connection, and outdoor adventure. Here is the updated schedule of when Paradox Sports will be on ice during the 2026 season. From adaptive clinics to festival partnerships, we are excited to offer multiple opportunities to get outside and climb ice with our community.

Scholarships remain available for all Paradox Sports ice programs. Cost should never be a barrier to participation.

Festival Partnerships

Winona Ice Festival
January 29–February 1

Paradox Sports will host a free adaptive ice climbing clinic as part of the Winona Ice Festival. Festival attendance does require a ticket purchased through the Ice Fest. If this cost is prohibitive, please reach out to Paradox Sports and we will connect you with the festival organizers @bigriverclimbingguides to explore options.

Whether you are new to ice or continuing to build your skills, we invite you to join us for a season of adaptive ice climbing, skill development, and community.

Our Vail Ice Day Climbs are officially live! Regis

Our Vail Ice Day Climbs are officially live! Register with the link in our bio or at https://www.paradoxsports.org/calendar/list/page/2/

We now have two options open for registration:
February 15 (Weekend)
February 25 (Weekday)

Join us for a full day of local ice climbing in East Vail, CO, hosted by Vail Ice Guides. We will meet outside of Golden, CO at 6:45 am and depart promptly at 7:00 am to carpool or caravan to the trailhead. From there, we will hike in and climb until around 3:00 pm, then return to the cars and aim to head home by 4:00 pm.

Registration is required to attend this event. Location details will be shared a few days prior, once registration closes.

Accessibility:
This event has very poor accessibility. The approach involves steep slopes and potentially deep snow. Our team will do everything possible to support individual needs, but climbing time may be impacted based on mobility assistance needs and conditions.

Service Animals:
Due to terrain, ski traffic, and the length of the day, we ask that service animals not attend this program. Please make appropriate accommodations for your animal.
