TESTIMONIALS
“I felt understood as someone who had a major accident but also wants to adventure and climb and face my fears. Many times when I was in a wheelchair, I felt invisible. It was an honor to get to see, meet, help, wait with, talk with, climb with, laugh with, and everything else with so many cool people who understand this.” – Jackie Helpern, 2019 Paradox Participant
“Paradox is by far the best experience I have had with any program I have worked with or been a part of. The community is loving and caring and it makes you feel at home.” – Anonymous 2020 Participant
“I love sports. I play wheelchair tennis and basketball. Climbing has been a new sport for me, and I love it. I use sports to drive me, to set goals and achieve them. Sports will hopefully be part of my college future and I want to go to the Paralympics. For me, this climb just proved that if I try something and set goals, I can be successful. This mindset helps me with those tasks that I don’t particularly love too, like reading for schoolwork.” – Hannah Exline, 2018 Paradox Participant
“It really was one of the top 10 weekends of my life. I cannot thank you all enough.” – Anonymous 2019 Participant
