Join the Paradox Sports and No Barriers for a Veterans only
climbing event to the Top of the Tetons!

August 21 – 26, 2019

Paradox Sports is partnering with No Barriers to deliver a unique climbing experience in Grand Teton National Park. The program is being offered exclusively to veterans with a physical disability, who have previous climbing experience. The program will start and end in Jackson Hole, WY. The trip is fully sponsored and there will be no cost to selected participants. However, transportation will not be included if selected. All participants will be required to provide their own transportation to/from Jackson Hole.

Schedule

  • Wednesday, August 21st – Vans depart Fort Collins, CO at 8:00am.  Team welcome dinner at 6:00pm, staying at Teton Climbers Ranch.

  • Thursday, August 22nd – Mountaineering training 1 at Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park.  Stay at Teton Climbers Ranch.

  • Friday, August 23rd – Mountaineering training 2 at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.   Stay at Teton Climbers Ranch.

  • Saturday, August 24th – Climbing day 1, trailhead to lower saddle hut.  Stay at lower saddle hut.

  • Sunday, August 25th – Climbing day 2, lower saddle hut to summit and back to trailhead.  Team celebration dinner at 6:00pm.

  • Monday, August 26th – Vans depart Jackson, WY at 8:00am.

Transportation – Transportation is provided to and from Fort Collins, CO by No Barriers.  Any other travel arrangements are to be handled by the participants. If a participant wishes to travel on their own, they must be at the Teton Climbers Ranch by 6pm on the 21st, and are free to go after dinner on the 25th.

Gear – A gear list will be sent out closer to the expedition date.  Participants are asked to supply as much of their own gear as possible, with No Barriers and Paradox filling in any needs.
